Pasteurizer Automation 60 hl/h
Pasteurizer Automation 60 hl/h – Siemens PLC & HMI
Unitank Brewery
1 project
The project involved the full automation of a pasteurizer with a capacity of 60 hl/h, used for the conditioning and stabilization of beer prior to bottling. The implemented solution included the installation of a Siemens PLC for precise control of temperatures, pressures, and flow rates across each section of the pasteurizer—preheating, holding, cooling, and recirculation.
Integrated sensors continuously monitor critical process parameters, while control algorithms maintain stable set values, preventing overheating or variations that could affect product quality. Through the HMI interface, operators can visualize thermal flows, monitor pump and valve status, adjust pasteurization recipes, and access historical data for auditing and optimization.
Automation led to improved process stability, reduced energy consumption, and ensured uniform pasteurization across all production batches. The system is scalable and ready for SCADA integration, enabling centralized monitoring and advanced reporting within Unitank Brewery.
