Heating System Optimization
Boiler House Automation – Heating System Optimization
Cogâlnic Brewery
1 project
The project involved the modernization and optimization of the heating system used at Cogâlnic Brewery by implementing advanced automated control across all thermal circuits. The scope included the installation of an industrial PLC to monitor critical parameters—temperature, pressure, and flow—as well as the integration of pumps, valves, and safety sensors into a unified control architecture.
The boiler house operating logic was redesigned to enable dynamic adjustment based on the brewery’s technological demand, ensuring uniform distribution of the heat transfer medium to tanks, heat exchangers, and auxiliary equipment. The HMI system provides full visualization of thermal flows, historical trend charts, intelligent alarms, and both manual and automatic control of each circuit.
The optimization of heating processes resulted in reduced energy consumption, improved thermal stability, and safer system operation. The implemented automation allows rapid adaptation to production variations, minimizes heat losses, and ensures stable operating conditions, contributing to overall plant efficiency.
