Automated Water Ozonation System
Automated Ozone Water Disinfection System – Brewing Utilities
BeerMaster Brewery
1 project
The project involved the implementation of a fully automated system for disinfecting water used in the brewery’s utility processes, based on ozonation technology. The solution included the installation of an industrial-capacity ozone generator, integration of concentration and flow sensors, and the implementation of a dedicated PLC controlling the entire process of ozone generation, dosing, and dispersion in water.
The system continuously monitors critical treatment parameters—ozone concentration, water flow, pressure, and temperature—and automatically adjusts dosing to ensure efficient and uniform disinfection without the use of traditional chemicals. The HMI interface provides full visibility into equipment status, historical trend charts, intelligent alarms, and the ability to adjust settings according to process requirements.
The integration of the ozonation system improved the quality of water used in plant utilities, reduced microbial contamination, and increased safety in washing, rinsing, and processing operations. Automation enabled stable and predictable operation, reduced maintenance costs, and eliminated variability typical of manual treatment methods.
The implementation brought BeerMaster Brewery to a higher standard of industrial hygiene, strengthening control over one of the most critical factors in beer production: water quality.
