Mobile CIP Station for Winemaking
Mobile CIP Station for Oenological Processes
Crama Boierului, Romania
1 project
The project involved the design and implementation of a mobile CIP station dedicated to oenological processes, designed for cleaning and sanitizing tanks, pumps, pipelines, and equipment used in wine production. The mobile system provides maximum operational flexibility and can serve multiple winery sections without requiring additional fixed infrastructure.
The station is equipped with circulation pumps sized for food-grade applications, a heater for solution preparation, temperature and conductivity sensors, as well as automated valves for switching between pre-rinse, detergent recirculation, rinsing, and disinfection phases. The units are managed via a compact PLC, which controls CIP sequences and ensures repeatability of each cycle regardless of the operator.
The HMI interface allows selection of cleaning recipes based on equipment type, parameter adjustment, and real-time monitoring of CIP phases. The system also provides cycle logging for hygiene audits and resource consumption optimization.
The implementation of the mobile CIP station increased the winery’s operational hygiene level, reduced cleaning time, and ensured superior control over sanitization processes, contributing to the consistency and safety of the winemaking process.
